Ingredients (1 burger):
- 6-8 oz (168-224 g) of freshly ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) of kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) of freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of olive oil
- 2 slices of American cheese
- 2 strips of bacon
- 1 toasted hamburger bun
- toppings as desired (tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles)
For the sauce:
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) of mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons (10 g) of yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of pickle juice
- 2 teaspoons (10 g) of sweet relish
